On Sunday, September 25, I participated in RBC’s second annual Gran Fondo Whistler, a mass cycling event that took place along the 122 km stretch from Vancouver to Whistler. Gran Fondo translates as “big ride” in Italian and these all-level cycling events are now popular all over the Europe. The ride from Sea to Sky was absolutely breath-taking. We climbed 2400 metres to Squamish, before riding on a descent into Whistler Village. It was a great day!
