Many Thanks!

Well I would be remiss if I did not start by saying a huge thank you to my friend Jeffrey Andersen for not only his great friendship but also for bringing me into the technological world! He is the creator of both this web site and our new www.sagerllp.com web site. So if you are looking for a brilliant creative mind then he is your man. He also directed this amazing music video called “Dominoes”, check it out . So thanks Buddy!

On another note of thanks yesterday was a most exciting day, as I fulfilled one of my life time dreams – I passed my IFR exam. For those non flyers in the group this stands for Instrument Flight Rules, which now allows me to fly in the clouds and jet ways.  So my sincere thanks go out to Mike Harris my always patient and rather demanding flight instructor! Thanks Mike! Also I would like to thank my examiner Ron Harcus from Canadian Flight School at Boundary Bay cfc.com.  After landing the plane and taxing in I looked over at Ron and said to him “the silence is killing me”, he looked over and said, “don’t worry you did just fine”! What a great feeling.

So once again thank you!

As part of the team assembled by Steve Hynes to help shepard this project through the community process it was a most rewarding evening. The passing of former Mayor Peter Jones

I note today with the greatest respect and sadness the passing of former Mayor Peter Jones. He was a truly remarkable man who’s wisdom and caring touched many. He was the person who when I was still in high school asked me to sit on a municipal committee. This was my first exposure to municipal life and I suppose the rest goes without saying. Peter then asked if I would chair the first ever community day committee. What a wonderful opportunity and I am so proud that Community Day remains a wonderful family event to this day.

My sincerest thanks go to Peter for everything he did both for our community and for me personally. A celebration of his life will be held on
